Dr. Kevin Craig
Dr. Kevin Craig became the pastor of Southwest Baptist Church on February 1, 2026. He and his wife, Danielle, have been married since June of 2004, and they have one son named Samuel.
Pastor Craig graduated Bible college in 2002 and has served in three different ministries over the past 24 years – one in East Texas, one in Georgia, and for 15 years at Parkside Baptist Church in Mesquite, TX where he served as an Assistant Pastor for the past 11 years.
Their lives revolve around the church and the Lord’s work and they love serving the Lord together! Their desire is to see the church grow numerically and spiritually as they seek to give out the gospel and proclaim God’s Word which still has the power to change lives today!
They believe in “church the way it used to be” with passionate preaching from the King James Bible, singing from the hymnal, and enjoying good Christian fellowship with God’s people!
We are so glad that God led the Craig’s to be a part of our church family!

A Place For Growth
It won't take you long to realize that every worship service at Southwest Baptist is exciting and God-honoring. Each service provides you an opportunity to connect and grow closer to God through inspiring music, practical preaching, and a friendly atmosphere. We meet every week to glorify God together.
Where Adults Can Connect
At the core of every individual's life is a need for relationships--both with God and God's people. At SWBC, one way we strive to meet this need is through our Bible Classes. Each of these small groups are led by a capable Bible teacher and provide an environment where you can connect with others in your demographic. Church is a great place to build lifelong friendships with people who will encourage you in your walk with Christ.
Where Kids Can Connect
At SWBC, we desire to combine faith with fun as we teach every child how to know and love Jesus. Our Kids activities offer a fun atmosphere with games, snacks, as well as a Bible lesson tailored for each age group.
Every Sunday morning, our children's ministry provides classes for infants and children up to 6th grade.
A Place for Teens to Grow
SWBC is a great place for your teen to connect with other teenagers who are all trying to grow closer to Christ.
Teens meet every week at designated times. Teens can also connect with each other and to God through a variety of activities and trips throughout the year.
